Each year New Saka, Balinese Hindus celebrate Nyepi. Nyepi falls on count Tilem Kesanga (IX) which is believed to constitute the purification of the gods who are in the center of the ocean that brings alive the essence amerta water. To the Hindus holy worship to invoke safety.
Nyepi is derived
from the word quiet
(silent, silent). Nyepi Day is actually a celebration of the Hindu New Year calendars / calendar
